Petra Machacek

Petra Machacek completed her studies in International Business Studies with a focus on Human Resources and Marketing at the University of Paderborn. After working in recruiting at Deutsche Telekom in Bonn and in personnel consulting at Jobware in Paderborn, she found her professional home in Human Resources at RTL Deutschland GmbH in Cologne around 15 years ago. Currently, she and three other colleagues in the “Talents & Young Professionals” team look after around 180 young talents in various development programs, such as apprenticeships, dual studies, traineeships and traineeships at the Berlin, Hamburg and Cologne locations. The aim of these programs is to optimally prepare young people for the professional world in a media company and at the same time attract new creative minds to RTL.
