The Making of Super High-End Series

In the last few years a new category of series has gained prominence: Ultra high-end projects with massive star power both in front of and behind the camera are breaking into cinematic territory previously reserved only for Hollywood’s big-budget blockbusters. Apple TV+’s CONSTELLATION, with Noomi Rapace in the leading role, is one of the most spectacular recent examples. Elaborate zero gravity scenes set on the International Space Station are only the most obvious examples of the show’s ambition. Director Oliver Hirschbiegel, producers Daniel Hetzer and Jakob Neuhäusser and Supervising Art Director Cornelia Ott share their experiences of working on the super high-end series and bringing the vision behind it to life.
