In terms of inclusive storytelling, Germany is lagging behind internationally. But Queerness is part of the diversity spectrum. That's why we want to discuss the following questions with a panel of prominent figures:
Why does queer storytelling succeed so much more relaxed and casually in other European or international series formats? How can queer visibility succeed without immediately being labeled as a “niche product”? How can a queer series be marketed to appeal to as many people as possible and how much mainstream is there in queer content? And: When is a series even queer?
