§ 1 Scope

(1) For the business relations between Seriencamp UG and the customers, the following General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) apply exclusively in their valid version at the time of the order.
(2) Conflicting conditions or conditions deviating from these GTC are hereby contradicted, unless Seriencamp has explicitly accepted them in writing. This also applies if in the context of placing an order reference is made to the GTC of the customer and Seriencamp performs its services without reservation.

  1. § 2 Tickets for free events

  2. (1) The order via Eventbrite is only a reservation. The tickets which entitle to access the screenings must be collected at least 30 minutes before the start of the screening. Otherwise, the reservation loses its validity and the tickets may be passed on by the Series Camp. The name of the person making the reservation as well as, the reservation in digital or printed form is required for pick-up. Reservations may not be given or resold to third parties.(2) Each ticket reservation is only valid for the performance listed on the reservation.
    (3) Reservations may be cancelled via .
    (4) No admission under the age of 18. Screenings are subject to the stated FSK restrictions. We reserve the right to conduct admission checks. In this case, we ask that you bring an identification document with you.
    § 3 General rights and duties in the cinema
    Our staff and responsible persons of the University of Television and Film Munich exercise the domiciliary rights. In the interest of safety, you are obligated to follow the instructions of our staff in case of danger. Escape routes must be kept clear.
    Commercial, artistic or sporting activities are only permitted in and around the festival area with the approval of the Series Camp.
    Cell phones are to be switched off from the beginning of the performance. Disturbances are to be refrained from as well as harassment or discrimination of other guests or staff.
    Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes is not permitted in the entire cinema building.
    Bringing food and beverages into cinema halls is not permitted.
    It is not permitted to bring bulky or dangerous objects, fireworks or other pyrotechnic objects, weapons and dangerous tools, spray cans, noise instruments, laser pens, bottles, cans, intoxicants and animals - with the exception of those required for assistance in case of physical or mental disability.
    The taking of picture, film and sound recording devices is not permitted, with the exception of cell phones.

    § 4 Prohibition of sound and image recordings, contractual penalty

    It is not permitted to make sound, image or film recordings of the film screenings or the cinema premises or to transmit or distribute such recordings in whole or in part via the Internet or other media (including mobile telephony) or to assist other persons in such activities. Violators will be subject to civil and criminal prosecution.

    § 5 Photography and filming

    At the festival, photographs and film recordings will be made, reproduced and used by the media, by festival sponsors and/or by the organizer. By entering the festival grounds, every visitor of the festival agrees that these recordings also depict the person of the visitor and may be used for the aforementioned purposes without compensation.

    § 6 Limitation of liability at SERIENCAMP

    (1) Claims for damages in connection with the festival visit are excluded - regardless of the legal grounds - unless the organizer or his vicarious agents have acted with intent or gross negligence.(2) The above limitations do not apply to damages resulting from injury to life, body or health, or in cases of culpable breach of essential contractual obligations.

§ 7 Severability clause

Should one or more provisions of these General Terms and Conditions of Business and Use be invalid, incomplete or in need of supplementation, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. In their place or in order to close contractual gaps, regulations that come closest to the economic interests of the parties shall apply.

§ 8 Offsetting restriction, final provisions

(1) The customer shall only have a right of set-off if his counterclaims have been legally established or are undisputed.
(2) The contract language is exclusively German. Other languages are not available for the conclusion of the contract.
(3) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply exclusively to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
(4) If the customer does not have a general place of jurisdiction in the Federal Republic of Germany or if the customer is a merchant, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes in connection with contracts concluded in accordance with these GTCs shall be Munich, notwithstanding any special jurisdiction for consumers.
