Pascal Schmitz is the co-founder, executive producer and head
of development and production at AAA Entertainment, a film and television distribution and production company based out of Johannesburg, South Africa. AAA Entertainment one of the few African sales and distribution companies and a Netflix content partner, representing African titles since 2014. Pascal has produced several feature films, documentaries and television series for the local and international markets. His latest film DO YOUR WORST (2023) is currently streaming on Netflix worldwide and he executive produced the series COUNTRY QUEEN for Netflix in 2022. He has served as a board member of the Documentary Filmmakers Association (DFA) for three years from 2008 to 2010, including one year as treasurer. He also served one year on the SASFED council.
Pascal Schmitz is also the founder of FindFlix, a tech startup that simplifies the marketing and distribution of independent film and TV titles. FindFlix utilises a single database and multiple user apps to connect AVOD and SVOD platforms, offering curated content in genres like action, romance, faith, and sci-fi.
