Hauke Bartel

Hauke Bartel, born in Hamburg in 1985, is EVP Fiction at RTL Deutschland. His career in television began in the commissioning and acquisitions team of VOX and RTL in 2014. In 2017, he moved to the newly created position of Head of Fiction at VOX, before becoming EVP Fiction at RTL Deutschland in 2020 with responsibility for all original drama productions at RTL+ (TVNOW), RTL and VOX. Current productions include series such as Sisi, Zwei Seiten des Abgrunds (Two Sides of the Abyss), The Legend of Wacken, Gute Freunde – Der Aufstieg des FC Bayern and Hagen. Hauke Bartel is a member of the film funding committee of the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW (North Rhine-Westphalia Film and Media Foundation).
