Christoph Pellander

Christoph Pellander has been working in the TV industry for 25 years now and is a passionate cineaste who heads the editorial department and program management at ARD Degeto Film. Christoph Pellander is responsible for around 90-100 films, multi-part or (mini) series per year for linear broadcasting slots on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays as well as Degeto's cinema material and projects for the ARD Mediathek - that's a wide range of different tasks and content responsibility. Of course, diversity has been an absolute focus topic for Christoph for years - one of his first projects at Degeto, for example, was the first queer TV series "All you need", whose main character was played by a BiPoc actor. Christoph studied at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and before his time at ARD Degeto Film, he was an commissioning editor at NDR for fiction and shows as well as a fiction editor at WDR and BR and also worked as a producer.
