Prior to joining ZDF ARTE in 2022, Julius worked as a funding executive for distribution and immersive media at FFF Bayern. Before that he spent twelve years in theatrical distribution being responsible for the acquisition and licencing of theatrical films at independent distribution companies Alamode and Prokino where he acquired and licenced films such as THE BUTLER, THE PEOPLE VS. FRITZ BAUER, THE SQUARE or AND TOMORROW THE ENTIRE WORLD. He is alumni of the postgraduate programme Atelier/Masterclass Ludwigsburg Paris.
