The festival opening 2025!

SERIENCAMP FESTIVAL kicked off its 11th season on Tuesday evening with the premiere of the WDR series HUNDERTDREIZEHN. Many more exciting series can be watched at Cinenova Köln-Ehrenfeld until Thursday.

First on the red carpet, then in the cinema: SERIENCAMP FESTIVAL kicked off its eleventh edition with the premiere of the new WDR-series Hundertdreizehn on Tuesday evening.

Numerous actors and series makers celebrated the kick-off together at Cinenova in Cologne-Ehrenfeld, including Anna Schudt, Patricia Aulitzky, Max von der Groeben, Armin Rohde, Friederike Becht and many more.

Nathanael Liminski, Minister for Federal and European Affairs, International Affairs and Media of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and Head of the State Chancellery, and Walid Nakschbandi, Managing Director of the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW, opened the latest "season" of the Seriencamp Festival on Tuesday evening in front of around 400 invited guests.

The world premiere of the German-Austrian co-production Hundertdreizehn was shown. Following the pilot episode, the almost complete cast and crew were celebrated on stage and gave exciting insights into the series at the Q&A.

The celebrations then continued on the grounds of Cinenova Köln-Ehrenfeld. The toasts continued late into the evening: to the premiere, to past and future successes in serial storytelling and, of course, to a successful opening of the eleventh Seriencamp Festival.

From today, Wednesday, the Cinenova cinemas will also be open to Cologne's series-loving public. Until 5. Until June 5, series highlights will be shown here in the presence of the cast and crew, alongside the world and German premieres of local prestige productions such as Softies (rtl+), club der dinosaurier, CHABOS, REMBETIS - DIE GEISTERJÄGER (all three ZDFneo) and LOVE SCAM (Sky) also internationally  already celebrated series highlights such as REYKJAVIK FUSION, THE DANISH WOMAN (both ARTE) or REMINDER (Disney+), with the Turkish superstars Hande Erçel and Barış Arduç on location.
