"Trespasses" wins the 2026 Critics' Choice Award!

The Critics’ Choice Award honors a series that impresses the jury with its outstanding narrative quality, originality, and social relevance.

The winner of the 2026 Critics’ Choice Award has now been announced: “Trespasses” will be honored at the Seriencamp Festival 2026.

Set in Northern Ireland in the 1970s, the series tells the story of a forbidden love against the backdrop of the conflict in Belfast—a love that, in a climate of fear, violence, and mistrust, leads to increasingly dangerous consequences.

The jury, consisting of TV critics Dominik Porschen, Arabella Wintermayr, and Patrick Heidmann, has decided to award “Trespasses” the Critics’ Choice Award.
