The Official Competition at SERIENCAMP FESTIVAL is moving on to the next round: Six series have been nominated for the 2026 Best International Series Award. The selection reflects the creative breadth of current series productions and covers everything from socially relevant topics and dark mysteries to black humor and powerful emotions.
The nominees are:
TOXIC (CH) - A mysterious poisoning of Lake Geneva plunges a city into chaos and draws a couple deep into a life-threatening investigation.
ALL HEROES ARE BASTARDS (D) – Three teenagers discover powers that force them to make difficult moral decisions as they fight against an oppressive system.
THE FLAWS/DAS MANKO (D) – A group of hopelessly incompetent government employees stumbles from one absurd disaster into the next.
KOMAR (BiH) - After a bus disappears in the mountains, survivors and relatives find themselves caught in a dark web of secrets and conspiracies.
THE REVENGE CLUB (GB) - A support group for divorcees, driven by heartbreak, hatches a revenge plot that spirals out of control.
TRESPASSES (GB) - Amid the Northern Ireland conflict, a forbidden love ignites that could risk everything in a world full of mistrust and danger.
A high-profile jury will select the winner of the Official Competition in the coming weeks. The winning series will be honored during the festival and given a special spot in the program.
