The Short Form Competition at the SERIENCAMP FESTIVAL 2026 has two winners: Buried and Sheep are sharing the award for Best Short Form Series.
In Buried, an Australian single mom tries to somehow fit the disposal of a corpse into her daily routine—amidst the stress of everyday life and an ever-growing to-do list—after a fatal accident on the way to school.
In the Austrian-German co-production Sheep, real people play real sheep, whose mouth movements were animated in post-production. The sheep mistakenly believe they have domesticated humans—a misconception with potentially fatal consequences.
