Since 2015, SERIENCAMP FESTIVAL has annually shown a wide selection of international series, including numerous German and world premieres, bringing together not only their creators but also thousands of series fans in the cinemas. After eight successful years in Munich, the festival, together with the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW and the Staatskanzlei NRW, announces a new start in Cologne for 2023.
And this despite the fact that the last edition of the SERIENCAMP FESTIVAL at the beginning of October was a complete success with over 5,000 visits*. A change of course, however, had been on the agenda for some time. Driven by the vision of further expanding both festival and conference and making them more international, the team has already been working intensively on a new concept for several months.
In early summer, the starting signal will be given for SERIENCAMP 2023, which will run from June 13 to 17. Then series fans from all over Germany will once again have the opportunity to experience series premieres from around the world on the big screen.
First program highlights will be communicated from May 2023 on.
