Seriencamp Awards - Audience Award 2021

Series fans from all over Germany have voted in the Watchroom: "The Last Socialist Artefact" wins the "Audience Choice Award 2021". Who else is among the audience favorites, you can see here in our Top 5.

This year the Seriencamp started with a hybrid festival. The physical festival with some cinema screenings took place in Munich in mid-November. The digital streaming platform WATCHROOM was available online and free of charge throughout Germany from November 11 to 28. 

For more than two weeks, thousands of series fans not only had the chance to watch more than 60 series from all over the world, but also to determine the winner of the "Audience Choice Awards 2021". All viewers were able to give the series one to five stars after watching them. 

The winner this year was the Croatian series "The Last Socialist Artefact". The winning series is about a remote Balkan town, a businessman, a Zagreb engineer and a disused factory: "The Last Socialist Artefact" follows Croats Oleg and Nikola, who are tasked with obtaining a rare turbine for a mysterious colonel. But making it requires not only renovating the old factory, but also waking the associated town from its slumber. And with it its inhabitants, who must first regroup for the unusual task. Besides "The Last Socialist Artefact" also the winner of the Critics Choice Award 2021 "Reservation Dogs" (Disney+) on 2nd place, "White Night" (3rd place), "Vigil" (4th place) from Arte and on 5th place "Mare Of Easttown" to be seen on Sky were among the audience favorites.
