Uta Cappel

Uta Cappel has been working as a commissioning editor for the European Cultural Channel ARTE in Strasburg since 1999. After a debut in the drama department‚ Cinéma-Fiction, she worked for ten years in the documentary department, Documentaries and Magazines. In 2013, she returned to the drama department to be in charge of the Series slot on Thursday nights for ARTE G.e.i.e. Some of the series she has been involved in more recent are FRIEDEN (with Srf), WILD REPUBLIC (with Magenta, Wdr, Swr, One), HELSINKI SYNDROME (with Yle, Ndr), HAUS AUS GLAS (with Wdr, Degeto), CHARITE IV (with Mdr, Degeto) and THE INFORMANT (with Ndr, Nrk, Degeto).
