Steven Kane

Steven Kane is a US-American showrunner, writer, and director with extensive experience leading high-end, globally oriented series productions. After starting in independent film and theatre, he worked for major U.S. series including »The Closer«, »Alias«, »NCIS«, »Without a Trace«, »American Dad«, and »Curb Your Enthusiasm«.

Kane created and ran TNT’s worldwide hit »The Last Ship« and has since become a trusted steward of major international IP. He co-created »Halo« for Paramount+, overseeing its large-scale adaptation of the iconic franchise and spending more than two years in Hungary collaborating closely with European crews and production partners. Most recently, he served as showrunner for Season 4 of Amazon’s »Jack Ryan«, another globally recognized IP. His work is defined by cinematic scale, cross-border production expertise, and a storytelling approach that resonates across international markets. He is based in Los Angeles and holds both US and French citizenship.
