Meriem Rebai

Meriem Rebai is a film director, screenwriter, and founder of reelistiq — Germany's first agency for Vertical Drama. Over more than twelve years, her work has spanned directing, production, and serialised formats: during her time at kurhaus production, she served as production manager on the KiKA series Und jetzt sind wir hier by Agnes-Lisa Wegner, exploring the lives of Syrian refugees in Germany. She is currently developing her debut feature Hamra, an action drama about North African sans-papiers crossing the Mediterranean to France. At reelistiq, she advocates for a Vertical Drama market driven by meaning rather than metrics bringing purposeful, authentic storytelling back to the centre of the format.
