Since 2004 Frank Tönsmann works as Commissioning Editor for WDR. He worked on the acclaimed Series In the Face of Crime. Since 2012 he is responsible for the Tatort Dortmund series that still goes on in it’s 12th year. Furthermore he commissioned Feature Films like Til the End of the Night by Christoph Hochhäusler that had it’s premiere on the Berlinale in 2023.
