The SERIENCAMP CONFERENCE offers professional European writers the opportunity to pitch their series ideas to an audience of producers, investors and decision makers. Six projects selected by our jury will be invited to participate in the pitching session and the authors will subsequently be included in the SERIENCAMP WRITER SHORTLIST. The SHORTLIST represents an unconditional recommendation and six authors will be added each year. The list will be communicated with the announcement of the selected projects on seriencamp.tv and elsewhere.
Regulations and requirements:
- The author must be the creator and/or owner of the series idea.
- The project must not yet be associated with any production company
- The project must not have been presented in other public pitching sessions yet.
- The project pitch should ideally be visualized with mood images and/or a trailer.
- Pitching language is English.
- Each pitch may last a maximum of 10 minutes.
- Deadline for submissions: 04 September 2017.
Submission details:
- Synopsis (max. 1000 characters)
- Concept of the series (max. 10 pages): Genes, format, number and length of episodes, short pilot treatment, story arc of the first season
- Vision of the author (max. 1 page)
- Dialogue scene (max. 3 pages)
- Short biography (max. 2 pages)
The pitch event will take place on October 26, 2017 in Munich, travel and accommodation unfortunately cannot be covered.
