It’s a good thing that not all keys have been replaced by digital keycards yet. Otherwise, *The Key Game* probably wouldn’t exist anymore. The show enjoyed huge success as a series in Mexico a few years ago under the title *El Juego De Las Llaves* and is now launching internationally as a German adaptation for Prime Video, produced by UFA Fiction. The eight-part series centers on Anna and Paul, who have been together forever, as well as their friends Julie, Valentin, Bella, and Leo. Their lives are running smoothly until Samu returns home with his girlfriend Siena and proposes a daring game to his old clique that pushes all boundaries: Everyone throws their key into a bowl. Whoever draws a key spends the night with the key’s owner. No feelings, no obligations. Just the game. What begins as an exciting experiment quickly turns into an emotional powder keg. Old longings resurface, new truths come to light: Nothing remains as it was.
