In high school, she had her first experience of lesbian love with her friend Ting-Ting, but now Yi-Ming lives mostly as a single parent in an unhappy marriage. When they meet again at a wedding, old feelings flare up again and the two must face the question of whether their love has a second chance.
Out of an LGBTQ+ pitching contest and created in cooperation with the local Content Creative Agency, "Fragrance Of The First Flower" was the first Taiwanese series ever to make it into the competition of the renowned series festival Séries Mania. Much honor for the six-part short format that celebrates queer self-determination in the first Asian country to recently legalize same-sex marriage.
