A conspiratorial bunch of young men, a supposed suicide and plenty of testosterone: for the stirring young-adult drama "Boys," award-winning young director Jonas Risvig can draw not only on familiar set pieces from the coming-of-age catalog of the past, but also on his not-so-distant youth in a small Danish town. Here it is a young returnee who wants to infiltrate the group of young church choirmen in order to clarify who is really responsible for the death of one of their own. Because no one really wants to believe in the obvious answer in this competently realized Nordic noir variation from Denmark, literally bursting with virility.
