In this world gone haywire, Annie grants refuge to, of all people, a misogynistic family friend. A fatal mistake, for the man gradually begins to seize control of her life. Just then, Annie falls in love with a musician. As the hatred around her becomes part of daily life, so does her own—growing into a desire for revenge against the one who did all this to her.
