From the outset the Berlin-Cologne based film production company eitelsonnenschein made a point of growing healthy and organically. Quite a challenge in an industry that consists primarily of project business. Launched as a cross-genre creative and production community in Berlin in mid-2003, we soon focused on film and television productions.
Rooted in advertising eitelsonnenschein acts true to the motto: with advertising we finance „art”. Our art soon was entertainment, meaning fiction – movies and TV shows, which are now as much a part of the core competence as commercials.
With our focus on fresh and unconventional TV series like FINALLY GERMAN! (WDR), WORLD OF WOLFRAM (funk), OTHER PARENTS (HBO ORGINAL) and KBV - NO SPECIAL INCIDENTS (RTL PLUS) we are happy to have created a series of very successful and award-winning TV shows that convey the spirit of eitelsonnenschein and entertain viewers in Germany and soon across the globe.
In 2023 our first international Cinemaproduction THE PEACOCK is hitting the screens of Europe‘s cinemas. In addition to the commercial and fiction eitelsonnenschein established the content production.
