Medical drama is having a moment and not just on daytime TV.

Even before THE PITT, the genre had returned with new urgency: premium, cinematic and emotionally raw. In Germany, Luisa Hardenberg (PUSH) and Samuel Jefferson (KRANK BERLIN) are among the leading voices behind this shift. The panel is rounded out by Ivar Khøn, producer of STILL BREATHING, described by Deadline as Norway’s record-breaking answer to THE PITT.

Their stories unfold in places where lives are saved, lost and changed forever: maternity wards, emergency rooms, and the fragile space between crisis and care.

Why now? Because medical dramas offer everything contemporary storytelling is hungry for: pressure, intimacy, chaos, moral urgency and humanity in its rawest form.

Few genres are this emotional, this brutal, or this alive.
