Step Into the Story: Immersive Worldbuilding Through Play

In this one-hour workshop, producers and writers explore the creative potential of tabletop roleplaying games as tools for story development. Rather than approaching these methods in theory, participants will experience them hands-on. No prior experience is required.

Roleplaying games offer a playful yet powerful approach to collaborative and emergent storytelling in the writers’ room. They can serve as icebreakers and team-building tools, while also opening up new pathways into worldbuilding, genre exploration and character development.

Through embodied play, participants will gain fresh perspectives on their narrative process and explore how richer, more organic stories can emerge.
