Greenlight, What Now? From Pitch to Production

What does it take to turn a pitch into a series, and what happens after the first door opens?

After pitching at Seriencamp’s Writers’ Vision Pitch in 2023 without immediate results, Helena Hofmann and Annika Cizek returned in 2024 with FIND ME (WT) and won the Writers’ Vision Award. A development commission from ZDF followed in November 2024. Soon after, Henning Kamm and Stephanie Lanzinger from Real Film Berlin joined as production partners. The greenlight followed in November 2025.

Together, they look back on the long and often unpredictable journey from pitch to production: adapting a novel, shaping a female-gaze approach to New Adult, preparing to film in Tenerife, and building the right creative and production partnerships along the way.
