As AI-powered tools continue to evolve at speed, they are not only changing what can be created but fundamentally how projects are developed, planned and produced. This session brings together two complementary perspectives on how generative AI is reshaping production workflows across development, VFX and post-production.

Opening with a keynote, Max Barkman (255pix) shares hands-on insights into how AI is transforming pipelines from first concept to final delivery. Moving beyond traditional structures, the focus shifts towards more fluid, iterative processes: early visualisation, constant testing, and a stronger emphasis on clear creative intent.

This is echoed by Pandora da Cunha Telles, creator and showrunner of the Portuguese series LA MARQUISE, who reflects on how generative AI has influenced both the visual approach and the overall development of the project. From building visual language at an early stage to embracing more image-driven storytelling, the case highlights how AI can open up new creative possibilities while also demanding new ways of thinking, collaborating and structuring production.
