Victor Sala

Víctor Sala has a degree in audiovisual communication from Universidad Pompeu Fabra and has completed a master's degree in screenwriting and film and television production in Blanquerna (Ramon Llull University).

He has studied at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver (Canada) and FAMU in Prague in the Czech Republic.

Screenwriter and producer of the series 'IN VITRO' directed by Marc Crehuet, with David Verdaguer, Bruna Cusí and Diana Gómez.

A co-production between HBO Max and 3cat (2026).

He has won the GAC 2024 Scholarship for the television series 'Sala de Màquines' (Boiler Room), which he co-wrote with Pau Ortiz and Carlos Robisco. Also selected at Digital Story Exchange in Seriencamp.

Since 2014 he has been co-founder of Serielizados, the International Festival of Series in Barcelona. The #1 Series Festival in Spain and which has had guests like David Simon ('The Wire'), Jesse Armstrong ('Succession') or Vince Gilligan ('Breaking bad').

He teaches television formats at Pompeu Fabra University and coordinates MINIPUT, a quality television show, which has been held in Barcelona since 1992.
