Thomas Münzner

Thomas Münzner is Head of Programming at Joyn, the streaming platform of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE. In his role, he is responsible for all in-house produced program content, external content partnerships and licenses as well as the implementation of the content strategy on the streaming platform. Since 2018, Thomas Münzner has helped build Joyn as an aggregator with around 70 free live TV channels and numerous media library content, and has launched a large number of Joyn original productions and new, innovative creator formats. Before Joyn, Thomas Münzner worked in content acquisition at Maxdome, at a time when "jerks." was the first German in-house production of a VoD platform. Münzner began his career at Maker Studios Inc., the former Disney content network, where he acquired video content for a young audience and distributed it to various platform partners.
