Sarah Rossmann
Screenwriter & Board Member of WIFT Germany

Sarah Rossmann is a writer. Most recently, she wrote numerous episodes for the SAT.1 series “Auf Streife” (seasons 14 and 15), produced by filmpool entertainment, an All3Media company. She grew up with her family’s Casablanca cinema in northern Germany and was a co-owner of the theater for five years. After many years of international work in the field of social issues, she returned to her creative roots by completing professional courses in film and television production at the New York Film Academy and in entertainment marketing at UCLA Extension.
In addition to her membership in the German Screenwriters’ Association (DDV) and Women in Film and Television Germany, she was previously a member of Women in Film (WIF) Los Angeles, working to improve the representation of women in the film and TV industry. In 2023, she was awarded the Silver Prize as “Social Change Maker of the Year – Gender” by the Stevie Awards for Women in Business. Her screenplays have also won and been nominated for numerous awards, including Best Feature Film Screenplay for “Running Through Revolution” at the Los Angeles Film Awards.
Sarah Rossmann has been on the board of WIFT Germany since January 2026.
