Pola Beck

Born in 1982, Pola is a true Berliner with a cinematic eye for the intimate and a focus on female perspectives. After studying at the European Film College in Denmark and Film University Babelsberg (2005–2011), she made her award-winning debut Am Himmel der Tag. This was followed by the hit series Druck, Das letzte Wort (Netflix), Liebe. Jetzt! (ZDFneo), Tender Hearts (Sky) and the feature Der Russe ist einer, der Birken liebt. She has recently completed post-production on the series Westend Girl (WDR/Arte) starring Helena Zengel — and is already developing her next feature film.
