Mara Luka

Mara Luka is an "actrivist"—an actress, activist, and producer. She is deeply passionate about amplifying women’s voices in the film industry. She has collaborated with numerous women*-centered initiatives, including INTO THE WILD Mentoring, Pro Quote Film, and—particularly since 2019—WIFT Germany.

Initially active as an advocate, she has been serving as a board member of WIFT Germany since 2021 and, on an international level, on the board of WIFT International.

With a clear focus on equality, representation, and the power of storytelling as a driver of social change, Mara Luka currently develops and produces impact-driven films that connect personal stories with broader social issues.
