Maik Platzen

Maik Platzen joined as Commissioning Editor for international co-productions at German pubcaster ZDF in 2021. There, he has worked across projects such as “Around The World In 80 Days” or “A Remarkable Place To Die” for ZDF main channel and “Elvira”, “Northern Lights” and others for ZDFneo.

Previously, Platzen worked in feature film acquisition and commissioned production for ZDF/3sat. He also developed and oversaw various formats for current film coverage for ZDF/3sat.
