Julia Mirjam Cantuária is a freelance Austrian screenwriter and has completed her studies at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in the field of screenwriting for feature films and series. She lives and works in Munich.
In addition to her participation in the audience:first lab: Near Future Comedy Series 2022, she attended Calista Films' Green Story Telling Workshop in 2021 and was part of Ralf Husmann's Masterclass: Comedy Series in 2019.
She loves to entertain her audience with fantastic stories: from the examination department in the afterlife (BAD PEOPLE; production: Hager Moss Films, commissioned by ZDF das kleine Fernsehspiel) to an „alternative“ Germany with punishment-free murders (festival success: ONE MURDER FREE) to a historical Vienna in a drug frenzy of a special kind (VIENNESE COFFEE).
She is currently developing her next series, which will be full of humour - and magic.
