Guido Reinhardt was born in Bensberg near Cologne in 1967. He trained as an actor in Cologne from 1989 to 1992, spent some time in the theater and then decided to study medicine.
He returned to film in a roundabout way: for UFA SERIAL DRAMA (then GrundyUFA), he began as a production manager on UNTER UNS, later working as a director and producer. In 2005, he took over responsibility as executive producer for the series GUTE ZEITEN, SCHLECHTE ZEITEN, UNTER UNS and HINTER GITTERN. Almost at the same time, he developed a completely new series concept: ALLES WAS ZÄHLT for RTL was to be the first German series to focus on figure skating and to be shot largely on ice.
In addition to numerous series and movie projects for UFA and all big broadcasters and channels in Germany, he realized the crime dramedy RAMPENSAU in 2019, which is based on the Israeli series מטומטמת (METUMTEMET) by actress Bat Hen Sabag. In 2021, Guido Reinhardt revived the crime comedy series BALKO as a producer and realized two feature films BALKO TENERIFFA. Since 2024, Reinhardt has not only been the producer of the daily series UNTER UNS, which celebrates its 30th anniversary in November 2024, but has also returned to ALLES WAS ZÄHLT.
