Friederich Oetker

Friedrich Oetker is a film producer who studied production and media management at the HFF Munich, as well as business administration at Cass Business School in London. His career began in 2010 as an assistant to the renowned producer Bernd Eichinger.
Since 2015, Oetker has worked as a producer and has been significantly involved in various film projects. His works include "Der Bernd" (2012), "Bruder vor Luder" (2015), "Gut zu Vögeln" (2016), "Axolotl Overkill" (2017), which celebrated its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, and "Tiger Girl" (2017), which opened the Panorama Special section of the Berlinale. Most recently, his produced documentary "The Hidden Life of Trees" was shown in German cinemas.
In 2021, Oetker produced the film "The Wannsee Conference" for ZDF, which was awarded prestigious prizes including the Grimme Award, the German Television Award, the Prix Europa, and the Romy. In 2023, he produced the Limited Series "Dear Child" for Netflix, which won an International Emmy Award.
