Eva Holtmann is a producer for decades focussing on television and mainstream feature films. Her track record includes thriller/drama shows like “Liberame – After the storm” to the sitcom “Secretaries” and the German adaption of “Ghosts”. Amongst her most recent productions like “Chabos (wt) ” she produced many series and feature films such as “Eingeschlossene Gesellschaft”, the period drama show “Zarah – wild years”, numerous TV Movies and the children´s feature films “Wendy” and “Wendy 2” based on the comic and girls magazine.
After studying production at the University of Television and Film Munich she joined RTL as an editor. She worked for the theatrical distributor Universum Film(now Leonine) in acquisitions and coproduction but soon followed her producing passion and joined Dor Film in 2007, initially in Vienna and from 2009 as a producer and managing director in Cologne. From 2016 to 2023 she was a producer at the production company Bantry Bay and since September 2023 has been Head of Fiction for the scripted division of BBC Studios in Germany.
