Born in Cologne in 1987, Dominik Porschen graduated with a degree in media economics from RFH Cologne in 2010 and worked as a media employee for film channel "dieFilmfabrik" from 2012 to 2015. From 2013 to 2017 & 2022 he hosted the Videodays. He has owned his own company since 2015 (since 2023 as DoPo Entertainment GmbH) with film channel Filmlounge (now renamed to his own name).
Dominik Porschen has already worked with various cooperation partners, such as Deutsche Telekom/Magenta TV (host of Streetgigs, Magenta TV program since 2020, host of Magenta TV Berlinale Lounge 2020 and much more). Since 2016, he has also been working with the Film-Medienstiftung NRW (including host of the Berlinale Reception since 2018, host of the Cinema Programming Award 2022, Digitization Summit 2021 and much more). He is particularly well known as a host for cinema and film events throughout Germany such as the Filmmesse Köln, Filmwoche München, Deutscher Filmball, Weischer Cinema, HDF and as a host for media events such as Prime Video, Sky, Wow, RTL, Cologne Fair. He is also an entertainer with his own solo stand-up program "Spoil Doch" and a voice actor for Disney and Paramount (including Spongebob Squarepants). As a musician, he has released his own album "Angekommen", which was released in June 2022.
