Christian Wehrlin

Christian Wehrlin is a Swiss screenwriter and creator, born in 1983 in Bern. With a background as a producer – he worked for over a decade in film production – he now writes for series. His credits include Tschugger, Maloney, Unsere Kleine Botschaft and Blind, an adaptation of a Spiegel bestseller releasing this autumn. He is currently developing two international co-productions as creator and head writer: Gold, a thriller about the global gold trade set across West Africa, Dubai and Europe, which won the Co-Pro Pitching at EFM Berlinale 2026 and was selected for Series Mania – and O Suizo, a Spanish-Swiss co-production set in Galicia and Switzerland. He is an alumnus of TFL Next, the ZFF Academy and the Canneseries Writers' Club, and a member of the European Writers Desk.
