Bryan Elsley is a television writer and showrunner best known for co-creating the ground-breaking Channel 4 series Skins alongside his son Jamie Brittain. Other writing credits include Nature Boy, 40, The Young Person’s Guide to Becoming a Rockstar and the award winning The Crow Road.

He founded Balloon Entertainment in 2012 and in the same year created and wrote on Channel 4 show Dates. Balloon’s most recent work includes, Champion (BBC & Netflix), written by Candice Carty-Williams and Harry Enfield’s BBC Centenary Special, The Love Box In Your Living Room. Bryan also executive produced Clique Series 1 & 2 (BBC Three), Kiss Me First (Channel 4 and Netflix), Eden (Stan and Spectrum) and Newark, Newark (UKTV).
