Ariane Böhm

Ariane Böhm is a journalist specializing in digital storytelling. She develops new video and audio formats – including for Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (rbb). Previously, she was in charge of rbb’s multi-award-winning TikTok channel safespace (Grimme Online Award) for over three years and led the editorial team. At the same time, she completed a leadership program and training in mediation. Previously, Ariane worked in various roles as a writer and editor, including at news outlet rbb24, in health journalism and in documentary. Ariane studied media studies in Siegen, Limerick (Ireland), and Berlin, earning a master’s degree. She completed her journalism traineeship at the ems – Electronic Media School in Potsdam-Babelsberg.
Ariane is currently working for rbb as co-project manager and editor on GYM BROS (working title) – a new fiction YouTube series about mental health and masculinity for young men. The project is being produced by Steinberger Silberstein in collaboration with NDR, rbb, and funk.
