Anke Hirschel

Anke Hirschel is a renowned producer, writer and development executive with more than twenty years of experience in the German film and television industry. She has been involved in countless acclaimed shows and comedy series such as ‘Beste Schwestern’ and ‘Kinder, Kinder’, which were both awarded with the German Comedy Price. In her latest role as commissioning editor for Westdeutscher Rundfunk, she also oversaw the development of several international co-productions such as ‘The Messenger’ (with ABC Australia, All3Media) or ‘Girl in my Diary’ (with Ketnet, KiKA) for the ARD Mediathek.
