Agnès Olier

Film composer Agnès Olier (The Lady in the Car with Glasses and a Gun by Joann Sfar, Low Mass by Baptiste Drapeau, etc.) holds a dual degree from Sciences Po Paris and the Ecole Normale de Musique, specializing in piano. A speechwriter for Frederic Mitterrand, then Minister of Culture and Communication, she also produced and hosted a cultural program on France Inter, as well as contributing to France Culture. Her work as a composer for film and documentaries has honed her demanding and creative approach to screenplays, editing, and visuals. Drawing on this experience, she joined ARTE's Fiction Editorial Committee in 2017, and since July 2023 she is the Head of Drama Department of ARTE France.
