Seriale Giessen meets Seriencamp

Winner series of the IndieSerienFestival will also be shown at the SERIENCAMP

Not only is the broadcaster-funded German series landscape on the rise in the wake of "golden age" and "Deutschland 83", but the broad field of independent (web) series production is also gaining in importance. Significantly involved in this are the Giessen filmmaker Csongor Dobrotka and the Hamburg "Filmstadt" maker Dennis Albrecht, who was not only a guest at the SERIENCAMP last year, but also co-initiated the (then) 1st IndieSerienFestival in Giessen with die seriale.

Now the seriale goes from 3 to 4 June in its second round - just announced the total of 20 submissions strong Official Selection. It is still the main goal of the festival to make the diverse series landscape visible outside of commercial television and to network filmmakers with each other, as the platform OurSeries.com already does.

The SERIENCAMP also wants to further support and promote these structures and therefore acts as a festival partner of seriale. Thus, the Best Series chosen by a jury of experts will not only receive the prize money of 2,000 euros sponsored by the Internet platform Netfall.tv, but will also be shown in the official program of the 2nd SERIENCAMP, which will take place (including two trade visitor days) from October 20 - 23 at the HFF in Munich.
