Jury 2025: Co-Production Pitch

This is our jury for the Co-Production Pitch 2025!

Welcome on board!

We are pleased to introduce the jury of this year's Co-Production Pitch 2025. The team of industry experts will support us in selecting the most promising series projects submitted during our call to projects. Eight production companies will present their projects live on stage at SERIENCAMP CONFERENCE in Cologne from 3 to 5 June 2025 to an audience of producers, sales representatives and potential partners.

And now our jury for the Co-Production Pitch 2025, consisting of Emmanuel Eckert, Henrike Vieregge, Maria Cervera and Pernille Bech Christensen.

Pernille Bech Christensen

Senior Executive Producer – TV 2 Denmark

Since joining TV 2 Denmark in 2015, Pernille Bech Christense has acted as Executive and Senior Executive Producer for over 40 series. Previously, she spent more than 20 years as an acclaimed editor, forming a creative partnership with award-winning director Susanne Bier on projects such as the Oscar-winning In a Better World and the Oscar-nominated After the Wedding. Pernille has been a member of the Oscar Academy since 2016.

Additionally, Pernille served for four years on the Danish Film Institute's commission panel, supporting commercial feature films. She has participated in various juries over the years, most recently serving as a jury member at the TorinoFilmLab in 2023.

Emmanuel Eckert 

Deputy Acquisition Director – Mediawan Rights

Emmanuel Eckert brings over 15 years of experience in the media industry. At M6 Group, he worked as a buyer, managing the artistic selection of TV series and films, and later transitioned into production. During this time, he developed pre-acquisition deals and produced both domestic and international co-productions, including Highlander and XIII for NBC.

In 2011, Emmanuel became a producer, first with Newen Group and later as an independent producer. In 2018, he joined Lagardère Studio Distributions as Director of Acquisitions. Today, he serves as Deputy Acquisition Director for Mediawan Rights, the distribution arm of Mediawan, France’s leading production company.

Henrike Vieregge

Editor Fiction Program Department WDR 

After completing her studies in English, Henrike Vieregge completed a traineeship in the fiction program department at WDR in 2012. She then worked in various editorial departments at WDR, including the children's and family programming group, where she was responsible for animated programs such as Shaun das Schaf and the Lachgeschichten segment in Die Sendung mit der Maus, as well as the series Armans Geheimnis and Sturm der Liebe.

Since 2019, she has been working again in the fiction program department as an editor, primarily overseeing TV movies and series. The projects she has been responsible for include the miniseries Haus aus Glas, the rap musical Hype, and the Grimme Award-winning TV movie Nichts, was uns passiert.

Maria Cervera

Head of Content & Executive Producer – Cattleya Producciones (ITV Studios)

Maria Cervera has an international background, having studied in Spain, Germany, and the United States. Her career spans independent film and TV production, publishing, international co-productions, and content commissioning for streaming platforms.

Starting in 2011, Maria oversaw development and international co-productions at the Spanish production company Plano a Plano, contributing to hit series like El Príncipe, Allí Abajo, and Servir y Proteger. In 2017, she joined Netflix’s International Originals team in Los Angeles, where she oversaw Spanish-language successes such as Elite, Cable Girls and Club de Cuervos. Following this, she became an executive producer at El Estudio, a US-Mexican-Spanish production company.

In 2021, Maria joined Paramount’s international television studio as VP Content Development, where she managed European productions including La Novia Gitana and Días Mejores (Spain), Circeo (Italy), Der Scheich and The Chemistry of Death (Germany). She also serves as an adjunct professor at the Department of Communication at Universidad Carlos III in Madrid.
