Writer Speed-Dating

At the Writer Speed Dating event, writers meet renowned production companies from Germany and Austria and have the opportunity to get to know each other and exchange ideas in a personal setting.

At five tables, five writers each engage in conversation with one production company. The producers provide insights into their company, working methods, and current areas of focus, while the writers introduce themselves and their professional backgrounds. The main focus is on networking, exchange, and making new connections — project pitches are explicitly not intended.

After every ten minutes, the production companies move to the next table, allowing all participants to get to know a variety of companies.

Participation is determined by lottery: Shortly before the Seriencamp Conference, all accredited participants who registered as writers will receive an email with the opportunity to apply. The available spots will then be allocated by random draw, and the selected writers will receive a personal invitation to the event.
