One of the most iconic global crime brands, WALLANDER, is back and reimagined for a new era. Bringing a contemporary lens to Henning Mankell’s universe, the new adaptation combines thrilling investigations with high emotional stakes, centring on a more complex and vulnerable Kurt Wallander navigating personal collapse alongside his work.

In this session, the creative team behind the reimagining explores the challenge of refreshing a legendary Nordic noir IP while staying true to its core. Joining the stage are Jarowskij/Yellow Bird’s CEO Elin Kvist and Producer Glenn Lund with ARD’s Commissioner Sebastian Lückel, who will discuss the creative vision, contemporary relevance and ambition shaping this landmark series.

The session will also feature exclusive clips, offering a first-look at the tone and visual world of the new WALLANDER.
