Thomas Herberth

Thomas Herberth is a producer and co-founder of Horse&Fruits Filmproduktion in vienna and co-founder of Story Garden Film in Munich. After his first steps in Vienna, he studied directing at the University of Television and Film Munich and now works at the intersection of cinema, documentary filmmaking, and series production.

Together with his team, he develops and produces internationally oriented projects with a strong focus on auteur-driven storytelling. His work includes the award-winning documentaries "She Chef" and "Dear Beautiful Beloved", as well as the recent fiction series „Sheep", which received awards at both Canneseries and Seriencamp.

Beyond his work as a producer, Thomas is actively involved in cultural policy initiatives advocating for sustainable production structures and the support of emerging voices within the European film and television landscape.
