Silke is the creator and headwriter of the TV-miniseries naked.
Born and raised in Düsseldorf, living and working in Berlin as a screenwriter and lecturer for creative writing and Bodywork. After completing her Masters of Communications in Auckland, New Zealand and working as a journalist, Silke studied screenwriting at the DFFB Berlin (German Film and Television Academy), graduating in 2017. Her screenplay „Wasser“ was nominated for the First steps award 2017. Silke was a co-writer for Hans Weingartners feature film „303“, who opened the Generation of the 68th Berlinale in 2018 and received the dachs Drehbuchpreis for best screenplay. Silkes screenplay for the feature film „smile“ was realised as „kleines Fernsehspiel“ for the ZDF. Silke is a member of the German Screenwriting Association (DDV) and is represented by the agency freex Munich.
